The embedded compute module that ships with jidō.os and the critical–cognitive boundary already assembled. For teams who want the architecture without porting the base system to their own hardware.

CRITICAL DOMAIN

Authority over the actuator.

The control path runs in isolated EL0, with capabilities, priority ceiling and safe-stop. It is what holds authority over motor, servo and bus.

COGNITIVE DOMAIN

Perception without privilege.

AI, navigation and Linux run as isolated guests. They see the world and propose — and cannot reach the actuator except through the mediated boundary.

INTEGRATION

Connect through the bus.

CAN, UART and I2C with drivers in EL0. Peripherals come in over a bus the critical path can actually analyse — not behind an opaque API.

Status: in development. jidō.os already runs end to end on silicon on the Raspberry Pi 4; jidō.brain is that architecture packaged into a module — mechanics and integration in progress. We say what is ready and what is not.
